• Five gauges, colour-coded wings — yellow 20G, green 21G, black 22G, blue 23G, orange 25G. Identify the size at a glance without opening a sealed pack.
• Stainless steel cannula, triple-bevel grind — burr-free and silicone-lubricated, with a short bevel ground for venipuncture rather than injection.
• Transparent tubing for immediate flashback — blood return shows as soon as the vein is entered, and the kink-resistant tube stays flexible while you reposition or tape down.
• Multi-sample adapter for vacuum holders — rubber-sheathed, fits standard blood collection tube holders and reseals between tube changes.
• Individually sealed, EO sterilized, 100 per pack — peel-open, single use. Dispose of the whole unit, needle and tubing, in a sharps container.
Which gauge to choose
Gauge trades speed against vein size. 20G is the fastest of the range and suits larger, robust veins or quick draws. 21G and 22G cover routine venipuncture with a good balance of flow and comfort of handling. 23G is the middle of the range and the size many collections default to. 25G is the smallest here — useful for thin or fragile veins, but the slowest to fill a tube.
Wing colours follow the international standard: yellow 20G, green 21G, black 22G, blue 23G, orange 25G.
What arrives in a pack
One hundred sterile units. Each unit is a needle with fold-flat wings, a length of flexible tubing, and a rubber-sheathed multi-sample adapter on the far end. Units are sealed individually.
What the adapter is for
The adapter pushes into a standard blood collection tube holder. The rubber sheath reseals each time you change tubes, so you can draw multiple tubes from one puncture without blood escaping between them.
Where this size range is used
Routine venous draws, PRP and PRF preparation, and small-volume collection where a straight needle is awkward — hand and forearm veins, and paediatric or veterinary patients. For PRP work, the 20G and 21G units are the usual choice: faster flow means less shear on the sample.
Single use only. Dispose of needle and tubing together in a sharps container.
